NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR AT WEC AUSTRIA

The Austrian National Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC Austria) has appointed Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Gamperl as the new Managing Director as of January 1, 2024. He replaces Dr. Robert Kobau, who has successfully led WEC Austria since 2013.

The appointment of Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Gamperl ensures that a profound expert in the energy industry and recognized expert will continue the successful and proven path in national and international cooperation with existing institutions in energy industry issues and that WEC Austria, as the Austrian representative in the bodies of the World Energy Council, is ideally positioned for future challenges.
