An evening full of innovation and inspiration with Infineon and the World Energy Council Austria

Recently, our YEPs and YEP alumni had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the activities of one of the global leaders in the semiconductor industry at the Innovation Hub of Infineon Technologies AG at the Technical University of Vienna.

Daniel Valtiner (Department Manager, Infineon) gave a highly engaging presentation on the global developments in the chip industry and explained Infineon’s market leadership in various application areas. In the subsequent discussion round, current developments in the fields of e-mobility, renewable energy, and AI were addressed – all key technologies in which semiconductors already play a central role today.

Sabine Herlitschka, CEO of Infineon Technologies Austria AG, also joined virtually and shared a few welcoming remarks with the audience.
