ON OUR OWN ACCOUNT

We are pleased to announce that we welcome two new additions to our team.

Mr. Yousef Hamid will take over the function of Secretary General Assistant as of July 1, 2022. The business administration student of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration likes to deal with topics in the field of sustainable business and is looking forward to the insights he can gather at the WEC.

Mr. Bernhard Macek, the previous Secretary General Assistant, has taken up a full-time position as Organizational Manager at the end of June 2022. We thank him for his work and wish him all the best and much success. We wish him all the best for the future.

Mr. Rupert Wimmer will take over the coordination of our Future Program, consisting of the Young Energy Professionals and Future Energy Leaders Program, as of July 1, 2022. Rupert Wimmer is a student at the diplomatic academy.

Ms. Milica Vujačić, the previous Future Programs Coordinator, has graduated from the Diplomatic Academy and will take up a full-time job. However, Ms. Vujačić will continue to work as a Senior Advisor for the World Energy Council. We thank her for her successful work and wish her all the best for the future and look forward to further cooperation and collaboration.
